Video: Devine Carama - Hang Onto The World

2011 was a great year for Devine Carama. He released Blood Of A Slave and a few videos here and there.

Right now the Kentucky based emcee is working on Heart Of A King, a project that will be released in March 2012. To celebrate his great year I decided to present a video for an older track called "Hang Onto The World." The thing that I like about Devine's music is the versatile aspect. He can spit some rappity raps on one track or some conscious rap on another track. "Hang Onto The World" features Athina Miller (wow) and the video is directed by Jamieson Mundy. I like the fact that Devine is able to smile and laugh. Too many videos nowadays promote negativity or an image of being "hard" and it is great to see the lighter side of life every once and awhile. Props to Devine for spitting in the cold (I am not built for that haha).
