Memory Mondays: George Bush

Monday, December 29, 2008 3

Next month we will endure a change in regime and Obama will take over as the next president which will end Dubya's legacy (lol). I respect George, who will probably go down in history as one of the funniest people elected to that position (president). Take a look at the video above and laugh with me hehe. In conclusion, George Bush may not have been the best politician but he is definitely one of the funniest.

Merry Christmas...

Wednesday, December 24, 2008 4

Merry Christmas to all, amidst all the gifts and the holiday football remember the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. Christmas marks the birth of Jesus Christ, this is a lovely time of year when retailers prey on our ability to buy gifts. I thank God that I am able to see another Christmas holiday and that I am to spend time with friends and family. My New Year's resolutions will be posted before the new year.

I love you all,
Praverb

Bush dodging shoes...haha hilarious

Bush definitely has my props for the quick reaction skills haha (note that the tossing of one's shoe in Arab culture is the ultimate sign of disrespect). I know that his tenure has been tumultuous but George has provided the world with some funny moments haha. On a bright note at least the Texans won haha!!!

Pizza Man foils robber with a pepperoni pizza...

Dang, I would feel horrible if somebody threw a pizza at me haha...read the amazing story below and marvel at the use of the tasty pizza...

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Police say a pizza delivery man fought back with the one weapon he had handy when a gun was pulled on him in a stickup: A large, hot pepperoni pizza.

Delivery man Eric Lopez Devictoria, 40, flung the steaming pie at the gunman, buying time as he ran for safety, police said.

At least one shot was fired as Devictoria fled, but the deliveryman wasn't hurt and was able to quickly call police, according to authorities.

Three teenage suspects were nabbed soon after Wednesday's run-in with the cheesy weapon, police said, adding they were charged with armed robbery.

Pacquiao vs. De La Hoya...

Saturday, December 6, 2008 4

Whew...the first blog entry for December and I am sick, tisk tisk. Anyway this blog entry will focus on tonight's enormous match up between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. I love watching boxing, most notably the lower weight classes because they let the punches go. This match will pit two great humanitarians against each other, both represent their countries with pride and are positive role models youngsters worldwide. I would love to see De La Hoya win but at the same time I am slightly convinced that Pacquiao will gain a victory thus adding to his legacy. I see the first few rounds dominated by De La Hoya but his punch output will reduce significantly and result to him being susceptible due to fatigue.
